Pricing FAQ
Can I use FileType Converters without an account?
Free without signing in: 5 conversions a day, 5 MB each. A free account doubles that to 10 a day and 10 MB.
What counts as a server conversion?
A server conversion handles formats that need document tools, AI Deep Read, or larger processing than the browser can safely run.
What happens to my file after conversion?
Inputs are deleted within 24 hours. Outputs are kept for the retention window on your workspace so you can re-download them from History, then removed. Every conversion counts toward your daily or monthly allowance.
How does the two-day trial work?
Choose a paid plan, start the trial, and cancel during the trial from billing if it is not a fit.
Can I cancel before renewal?
Yes. Billing settings expose cancel/resume and invoice history for self-serve plans.
What is an AI Deep Read credit?
One AI Deep Read credit is used per page when a scan, photo or handwritten page is read by the vision model. Digital files with a text layer never use credits.
Do paid plans include MCP access?
Starter and higher plans include API and MCP access with plan-specific limits.
Can teams share history and API keys?
Yes. Team workspaces centralize usage, retention, and shared conversion history.
