When this is the wrong conversion

If the JPG is mostly a table, use /convert/jpg-to-xlsx before asking someone to reconcile totals from plain text.
If you need searchable document editing, /convert/jpg-to-docx gives Word paragraphs and tables instead of a flat TXT transcript.
If the source is actually a PNG screenshot, use /convert/png-to-txt to avoid adding JPEG artifacts first.

Can JPG to TXT read handwriting?

It read the handwriting-like line in the test image, but that sample was deliberately legible. Real cursive, crossed-out words, and uneven lighting need human review after conversion.

Do JPEG artifacts show up in the TXT output?

The tested photo did not include artifact text or stray blocks. Compression can still damage small characters, especially decimal points, serial numbers, and punctuation.

Why are there blank lines between every note line?

Deep Read separated short visible lines into paragraphs. That improves reading in a text editor but may require cleanup if you need one line per form field.
